Starlito and Young Buck squared off at a local basketball game at Stratford STEM Magnet High School on Sunday night. A video has surfaced of the altercation. Check it out below.
According to Metro police spokesman Don Aaron, just after 6 p.m., an officer at the school saw two men — later identified as Young Buck and Starlito — arguing in the hall outside the gym. The officer, Aaron said, approached the men and commanded them to either separate or leave the crowded hallway.
As Starlito was walking toward the front doors, he passed by Young Buck, who police say swung on Starlito and then grabbed him by his neck, which knocked both men onto a set of nearby display tables. Then, police say, a third unidentified man began punching Young Buck and tryied to pull him off of Starlito. "During the fight the officer having been unsuccessful in separating the men during the verbal argument used a one-second burst of pepper spray toward Brown (Young Buck) and the unidentified man," Aaron said. The blast of pepper spray hit Young Buck in the face, which promptly ended the altercation. Young Buck then left the property, and Starlito refused to cooperate or prosecute Brown, police said. No one was hit by the pepper spray other than Young Buck. Soon after the scuffle, Starlito dropped a diss track directed at Young Buck called "You Should Be Proud." "Nobody ever did it bigger for the 'Ville than Buck/But I'm realer, and I really don't even give a fuck," Lito spits in the song. Buck has yet to respond to the track.
Starlito posted a message to Instagram addressing the incident. "If I were broke(n spirited), miserable with a rotten soul, and didn't have anything better to do, I'd probably try to grab me, in front of 3 police officers, while I WAS WALKING AWAY, too. I almost got tricked out of my position, purpose, and freedom yesterday," he wrote.
Young Buck has yet to respond. Just last year, Lito and Don Trip appeared on Young Buck's 10 Pints project for a song called "Push Da Line."
